The Giants are signing veteran DE Dawuane Smoot to the practice squad, per source. New York also worked out Yannick Ngakoue and Julian Owkara today. But they’re signing Smoot, who had played eight of his nine NFL seasons in Jacksonville.

Bengals claimed former fourth-round pick, LB Jack Kiser, on waivers from the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Whoops! I had the wrong numbers for remaining defensive schedule. Fixed. Actual hardest remaining defensive schedules: Chargers, Ravens, Panthers, Chiefs, Lions Easiest: Jaguars, esp after next week's game with Houston.

[Schefter] Eagles RB Will Shipley suffered a partial tear of his plantar fascia during Sunday’s loss vs JAX that now could sideline him multiple weeks. With Saquon Barkley dealing with a hamstring injury, Tank Bigsby on IR and Shipley hurt, Eagles RB injuries are mounting. x.com/adamschefter…

Eagles RB Will Shipley suffered a partial tear to his plantar fascia in Sunday’s loss to the Jaguars, per sources. Shipley started in the absence of Saquon Barkley and Tank Bigsby. Now another RB injury, though there’s optimism Barkley will be back soon.

Liam Coen's reaction to the @Jaguars game-winning field goal is unreal.

It's fun that we're debating end-game strategy in Jaguars-Eagles but the best strategy is "don't allow a 53-yard kick return."

Moments don't get any bigger than this. @NFLUKIRE | @Jaguars

Still would have been possible for the Jaguars to complete pass on the sidelines if there had been a touchback. The problem was giving up a long return, not allowing a return at all.

The final sequence for the @Jaguars to get the win in London was truly WILD.

They actually didn't! They were trying to PREVENT what happened to the Cowboys by making it so the Jaguars couldn't try a pass, and they ended up giving up too long a kick return.

Jaguars-Eagles ending gets the chef's kiss of absurdity.
